Might I make a suggestion?

I was just LMAO tonight listening to the Repuke's 'Truth Squad' (like they would know truth if they saw it). They were bitching and moaning on the floor of the House about how it wasn't fair they didn't get to do amendments to any of the initial legislation, blah, blah, blah..... Talk about a bunch of freaking hypocrites! It was just cracking me up.

I suggest each of us send a pacifier to all the Repukes from each of our respective states, with a little note letting them know it will help soothe them while we take charge for a while! A couple bucks for a good cause?!?

But if we could get people to commit to hundreds of thousands of pacifiers at $2 a crack, I'd really rather see hundreds of thousands of dollars go to better causes than a momentary, albeit well earned, giggle.

perhaps a postcard (they get delivered without all the fuss of letters or packages) with a pacifier on it would do....something like this:



with the appropriate message on the back...something like "Get over it" perhaps? It would also be a much less expensive enterprise! I'd limit distribution to the complainers...the ones who appear willing to work with us should be given the benefit of the doubt until they mess up...

I cry not for the Pubbie backbenchers. Where were they when Dick Cheney was briefing "the House Leadership" (defined as Republican leaders)? When Dem's were screaming for investigations of Halliburton and KBR war profiteering? When the Dem's wanted to investigate Cheney's meetings with the petroleum industry?

Cry me a river. And O rightwinger Christians, take another look at Matthew 19:21: "If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven."

Or how about Matthew 7:15: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

Or (my personal favorite), Luke 12:48: "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required . . ."
