C-Span just interrupted Barney Frank in mid-sentence, to cut to American Enterprise Institute
"resident scholar" Frederick Kagan.

FUCK the American Enterprise Institute. Fuck Frederick Kagan. I wanted to hear what Barney Frank had to say. He was talking about how Home Depot wants to buy a bank...

But instead, we watchers are treated to a paid PROPAGANDIST, speaking to us from a viper's nest of propaganda dissemination, and it is being presented to us as though these American Enterprise Institute people have some sort of authority to channel our government wherever they want it to go.

Yeah, I'll send the complaining e-mail to C-span. But in the meantime, I hope others will realize that it is high time we called out these damned "think tanks", such as the American Enterprise Institute and the Heritage Foundation. Yes, I know our side has think tanks, too. But are Americans in general so STUPID that they think these people should be given some sort of authority to direct public policy?? Some authority that every citizen doesn't have?

Everyone on here already knows to beware of think tanks and their pronouncements. But I hope we can get the word out to others who might not realize this.

(Meanwhile, isn't the American Enterprise Institute headquarters where McCain-Lieberman is going today to spread its latest toxic lies about Iraq/Iran? I hope the protesters are LOUD and CLEAR today! I know I'LL be hearing them!)

6. No, it's live. C-Span said they were interrupting Senate coverage
to go to AEI. Sign says LIVE.

17. That's odd. C-SPAN EXISTS to cover the House and Senate WHEN IN SESSION.
Their first priority should be to cover them.

3. How much does anyone want to bet that the AEI Iraq Plan that they
are pimping this morning will be the Bush Plan?

McCain and Leiberman are appearing about 12:15 to report on their trip to Iraq.

How much does anyone want to bet that teh AEI Plan will exactly match the McCain-Leiberman desires for Iraq?

AEI and the Heritage Foundation and C-Span. What a marriage. Has C-Span every missed filming any of the meetings that either of these right wing foundations have held?

I freeze up when I hear AEI - PNAC = the idea guys/gals. AEI = doers and fulfillers. Brothers and Sisters in death and crime. Horrible for humanity. Good for Israel/Olmert.

5. We have to pay more attention to the AEI
They have alot of influence, yet they're very rarely, if ever, criticized in the MSM. Most people have never even heard of them, yet prominent political pundits are members and C-Span is practically owned by them.

15. Regarding McCain, their likely nominee, I plan to remind EVERY wingnut
I hear extolling his "virtues", that HE is the guy who partnered with LIEBERMAN to do that stupid news conference "from Iraq" (they probably had luxury digs in peaceful Kurdistan), and HE is the guy who partnered with Lieberman to appear at the American Enterprise Institute. And if you've seen clips from that appearance, it is truly nauseating how they practically BLOW each other.

Wingnuts can be counted on to dislike Lieberman... almost as much as some of US do! Self included!

I hope that will taint their hero St. John McCain in their little pea-sized minds.

14. One of the steps I've been thinking about is noting when the "news"/politics channels
cut away from a Dem to go to the President having a press conference to announce that he will have a press conference later about something he would be studying to announce the findings yet later, and then firing off a LOT of angry letters to the station/cable channel for cutting away ...
