Sunday London TIMES "Israel plans nuclear strike on Iran" - Amazing Jan 7, 2007
Here we go. Israel has leaked a story that it’s intelligence service finds Iran just two years away from nuclear weapons material. That’s a lot earlier than previously suspected. “As soon as the green light is given, it will be one mission, one strike and the Iranian nuclear project will be demolished,” said one of the sources.” Unambiguous is a term that comes to.mind. Didn’t help Iran that their president (see last paragraph) held a Holocast deniers conference there? It’s almost like he’s a plant enabling the worst to happen.

Revealed: Israel plans nuclear strike on Iran

Uzi Mahnaimi, New York and Sarah Baxter, Washington
The Sunday Times, London January 07, 2007

ISRAEL has drawn up secret plans to destroy Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities with tactical nuclear weapons.

Two Israeli air force squadrons are training to blow up an Iranian facility using low-yield nuclear “bunker-busters”, according to several Israeli military sources.

(Israel named three prime targets and described how it would penetrate 70 feet of concrete reinforcement.)

Israeli officials believe that destroying all three sites would delay Iran’s nuclear programme indefinitely and prevent them from having to live in fear of a “second Holocaust”.

The Israeli government has warned repeatedly that it will never allow nuclear weapons to be made in Iran, whose president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has declared that “Israel must be wiped off the map”.

1. Not even Israel would dare unleash Nukes
The blowback would kill them off also.

4. How did Israel get nukes?
It certainly wasn't U.N. sanctioned.

5. Sweetheart, read a book or at least the Wiki on this
The U.N. didn't sanction anyone getting nuclear weapons. They're not the World Government, they're more of a debating society. The Security Council enforces international treaties; they don't make up rules under which other countries have to operate.

6. A number of ways
In the 1950-80s Israel had an active branch of the Mossad Technology Unit responsible for the acquisition of nuclear materials and knowledge. It received some nuclear reactor assistance from the French in the 1950s. It "stole" some enriched uranium from a US facility in Pennsylvania in the 1960s under the watchful guise of Zalman Shapiro, whom many suspect was an Israeli agent. Some plutonium and uranium was actually stolen in raids on cargo vessels. Some know-how was acquired from the apartheid government of South Africa. Some technology was developed internally.
