Bush hasn't made even ONE competent decision about Iraq so far, and yet . . .
people like Lindsay Graham and John McCain are in support of Bush's latest 'strategery'--a surge in troops?

Amazing. Bush has a track record of making nothing but bad decisions and people will still support his decision-making.

It's insane.

1. We have indeed fallen down the rabbit hole, haven't we? It's absolutely surreal.
WHY is this lunatic being allowed to continue to wield such power?

2. Wouldn't we demand that Bush have a track record of doing SOMETHING
right before we allow him to continue to make decisions that are this important?

Congress should shut him down.

He's got nothing but a proven losing track record, over and over, on Iraq.

3. You Know, He Hasn't, Has He
I cannot think of one competent decision he has made, as you say.

We really and truly have ourselves a complete fuck-stick for a 'CEO'.

Hell, with his level of incompetence, in modern corporate America he would be in the running for, say, a $1 B severance package.

4. Tell me ONE decision that is correct that he has made
in his whole miserable lifetime. NOT ONE.

6. They've got the oil and they'e not leaving, ever
...so what's incompetent about that? In fact, they are going to expand their control of southwest and central Asia.

If you buy the public pronouncements about what they are doing over there, it seems incompetent but th sovereignty and integrity of Iraq are not the objective. Conquest is a game of divide and conquer. Civil war, ethnic cleansing, and genocide are the tools of the colonial imperium. It seems incompetent, but from the view of the military industrial, banking, resources, financial industry point of view, it is a cold calculated plan.

Read William Clark's piece on Petrodollars for the financial necessity of their conquest:

7. Great article with...gasp...
solutions! ...at one time I would have looked at the solutions he outlined as easily achieved...now, they seem impossible. Perception being reality makes for a very strange world.

10. And all the Very Serious Commentators
The Very Serious Media Voices are all for letting this play out, almost as if there was better than a snowball's chance in Hell of it working. "This could be Bush's last chance to salvage his presidency." "This could be the strategy that turns the corner in Iraq." "This surge might just pull the rabbit out of the hat for George W. Bush."

Yeah, and if you stick this fork in that electrical outlet, you just might poop out a pill that cures cancer. Why don't you try it and see, Very Serious Media People? Or do you love cancer so much?

11. And not one of them has mentioned that Bush had never made the right call
not even once.

Not even about invading in the first place, about ANY of it, at ANY point.

Not one of the Very Serious Media People will say that.
