Tonight I killed some robots and gave my daughter super powers

She is almost 6 years old, and we were out on the front porch tonight. A light rain was coming down. She loves robots, and we were out there shooting her toy bow and arrow. We morphed it into killing the evil robots (we saw Terminator 3 earlier and a video of of a robotic sentry that shoots).

She kept needing super powers to see them and fight them, so I would grant them to her. She laughed a lot, and got rid of all them nasty robots.

And I could not help but feel sad for the many moms and dads out there who could not enjoy their night with their kids.

Killed in an war, maimed, families living in fear in Iraq of being bombed or shot up from an apache.

A war we had no business in starting.

Somewhere tonight a little girl wants to play with her daddy. But he is dead, or overseas in a war, or dying, or maimed. Somewhere tonight a mother wants to read to her daughter, but her daughter was killed in an air raid.

When we finally came back into the house she played cook. Making a little fake meal with her toy pots and pans. She watched her favorite cartoons and shows. She kissed me goodnight and told me she loved me.

I am thankful I am not in a country that someone attacked for their oil. I am glad I am not in a war zone thousands of miles away. I am glad that when a plane flies overhead I am not panicking that a bomb is going to hit my house and my little girl.

Tonight, we stopped the evil robot invasion. Soon I hope our leaders stop this damned war. Going to work now means I pay taxes to support this war, and that angers me more deeply each day. Each hour I work seems to be more money for ammo, instead of food and medical needs for our people here.

It is not religion that kills the most people, it is greed. Money is the root of all evil, and those behind this war are all about money when it comes down to it.

They are simply not content to have a simple job and then go home and play with their kids.

They are criminally insane.

The fact the world "ended" at the end of the movie bothered them -- though they called it "stupid."
