Jack Cafferty's questions for today
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/situation.room/

some times I kinda like ole jack then others his true colors show through, and I think they are re:puke:s colors

4 p.m.: A top U.S. commander in Iraq says it might take another "two or three years" to gain the upper hand in the war. Are you willing to wait that long?

5 p.m.: Should the House of Representatives have taken the day off so Rep. John Boehner could go to a football game?

7 p.m.: Should the Democrats fight President Bush's plan to escalate the war in Iraq?

1. There's only one football game tonight and Boehner has what connection to either
team playing?

7. CNN has a bit of an issue with trutiness. Monday was set aside as
a travel day from the get go. Like many businesses the House does not require it's members to travel on their own time, but allows travel on company time. I.E. leave home Monday morning and travel back Friday night instead of traveling on the weekend.

The Repubs were arriving Tuesday night and leaving Thursday afternoon.

8. That was a schedule set up by the Pubs when they took over in the 90's.
The Dems announcedwhen they won in Nov. that they were going to have a 5 day work week! If you live far away, you'll have to travel on Sunday or MOVE closer!

I think they should have carried on business as usual, and if Boener wanted to go to the game, then he just wouldn't be voting! TS!

4. Wait, how are these right-leaning questions?
The subtext to each of them:
1. The war will take forever, and is not worth it.
2. The Republican minority leader held up Congress for a trivial matter.
3. The word "escalate," a liberal buzzword, makes this: "Should the Democrats fight Bush's plan to dig us even deeper into the Iraqi cesspool?".

These are all great questions that help us, not the Republicans.

9. I don't consider escalate a "liberal buzzword"
It's an accurate description of Bush's plan... I think "surge" or "plus up" are the neocon and media buzzwords

11. 4pm:
Not just no, but HELL NO!

These idiots told us that this war was only supposed to last a couple of months, why exactly should we trust them when they say this? I tell you, if they said the sky was blue, I’d have to run outside to make sure.

Mr. Bush is about to do something which only 12% of America agrees with. Last time I checked this is a democracy, why is the President even considering something which only 12% agrees with? The generals who disagreed with this nut are not going to be in charge soon; even his yes men are saying no.
