I'm convinced of it; after watching Russert and Williams yesterday on MSNBC and the parade of talking heads today looking ashen and visably shaken at this coming strike at Iran, they know it, too. What a surreal day.

Hard to believe that Martin Sheen did such a great job with that character. I used to think that Stilson was Reagan but I think Bush** is much closer.

4. Bush is definitely closer to Stillson than Reagan was.
I am no fan of Reagan's, but I never thought of him in the context of evil, which is how I think of Bush.

11. Reagan was detached; W's insane
They could cover Reagan's early stage Alzheimer's, but they can't stop (or cover-up anymore)W's madness.

6. The same talking heads that helped get us into this mess
by banging the war drums so loudly. I hope they burn in hell with Bush.

It's arguably the best of King's novels put to film, and Christopher Walken became "Christopher Walken" in it, too. The Greg Stilson scenes are beyond creepy transposed onto W's current stability...
