Is Bush already hidden away?
Just thinking through why it seemed like his speech was pre-recorded and he looked like he was scared out of his mind. They already had the 82nd, carriers, and subs en route before his speech, the consulate provocation was already planned. I think they put his well-rehearsed and possibly pre-recorded speech out there while he was already away somewhere so when people started to put 2 and 2 together, he's safe. I'm pretty sure there are people out there who are desperate and feel that no matter what political course they take he's going to do what he wants and going after him is the only chance they have to stop him. Bushco is desperate in that they have an 'it's now or never mentality' and are going full steam ahead to fulfill their crazy PNAC plan.

1. So when we prosecute him and the other traitors I hope we can
prosecute the members of PNAC and other Neocon organizations as traitors to the Constitution..and America..

2. I saw - somewhere - a report that he 'slept throught it'
... and 'got reaction from the public from his advisors in the morning' so it MUST have been pre-recorded.

Wonder how many takes it took the dipshit to make it thru the entire thing without slurring or drooling all over himself?

3. A discomforting possibility
is that the sequence of events has been started and the machinery of war is in motion while most are left arguing about preventing it.

Attacks, rapid assignment of top personnel and reinforcing Iraq(maybe not to quell insurgents but to actually secure occupation and business interests while weathering the post-Iranian strike storm. The ships have already been moved close to position. Israel has done its required bluff. Everyone in the region has been deliberately rattled and antagonized.

So which will it be? a) There, that wasn't so bad? Surgical conventional attacks on targets. Poof.
b) Massive and nuclear cleansing to leave the whole world in helpless shock and doubt?

Or c) Take this administration down to the jail cell real history has reserved for them should history itself have the modest intention of surviving.

4. I don't think it was fear
but how he looked reminded me exactly of how he looked when he announced military operations have begun in Iraq. Exactly. Stunned and full of himself. There is not much self there I think, so that's why it looks like fear.

6. I would say it was all in the works before the little Bush talk.
Bush is still in his bubble and will show up in front of a nice staged military group soon. I think about 50 percent of men who like war are still with him. Shock of shocks that men who do war as a life work like a President that seems to like war stick together. One has always seemed to have the people who find force will get you what you want around.
