1. I can't stand to watch him on the tv
If I saw him in person I would probably either throw up or pass out.

2. I saw bush when he was running for president.
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 11:04 PM by az chela
He was here in town at the same time as mccain. They were both at the old court house and he pulled up in a black blazer and got out and he was about 8 feet away.I had my grandaughter with me and I grabbed her hand and told her to not go near him.He was acting like he could not tolerate being here and had utter contempt for the people and he looked mean and nasty.
I didnt want to be anywhere near him so got out of there fast.
He was campaigning so it had to be 1999

5. A group of us protesting behind the "Free Speech Barricade" saw him
in his limo as he passed by. We were in the barracade cage the SS put us in and as he rode by the car speeded up when it got to us...but he was "grinning" a maniacal evil grin. The tinted glass made his skin look grey and strange and he was so far down in the limo that only his head was visibile. I had a distinct feeling of fear looking at him. His head seemed suspended with that creepy grin. I didn't know whether he was grinning thinking we were just part of the group cheering him (I'm in NC which loved him at that point just before the '04 election), or if he knew we were protestors and his grin was just his enjoyment of his power at putting us in a "cage." We had lots of signs that were large with "No Blood for Oil," "Who Would Jesus Bomb" and "Out of Iraq Now." I don't know how he could have missed that they were protest signs.

I'll never forget that face. :scared:

8. BTW....Al Gore and Tipper were at a book signing here in NC about
eight months after the 2000 Selection. I was in the book signing line and he shook my hand. His whole presence and manner of looking intensely at each person in line and the eye contact when he shook hands was incredible. Totally differnt vibes from the Evil Emperor. But, then I didn't shake Bush's hand...but I doubt he would have looked me in the eye.

9. I saw him at the Phoenix Debate. A friend offered to introduce me
to him and I said "No ,Thanks". I was afraid I'd spit on him or do something that would get me arrested. He struck me as very juvenile and pettish. He seemed cranky and self absorbed.I slunk back to a VIP tent and watched the Debate with Gov.Grantholm. I wasn't a VIP but I had a Press Pass, which was handy! Later I got trapped in a crush with Karen Hughes and I truly could feel the evil emanating from her pores!

10. Two times, as gov
more stupid than evil. Husband was on the school board, and the Superintendent, used Bush to try to control the funding in our district, asked a question about the funding, bush gave the sound bite answer, tried to engage more conversation, but it was over his head, It is all Texas politics.

11. Saw his helicopter (or 2 helicopters) take off
Our house was across the street from the hotel where he held a fund-raiser. Two helicopters took off about the same time (Marine I and a decoy). That weekend was cloudy and depressing--very unusual for sunny southern California. I think it was his evil aura permeating the area.

12. Not chimp but I saw Poppy Bush
at UCLA when he was Pres. I was there demonstrating for freedom of choice and he drove by in his limo waving and smiling and made eye contact with me. I should have given him the finger but for some strange reason I just couldn't do it and I just stood there and waved back at him.  I need a ... :spank:
