Gates: I'm no expert on Iraq --WTF IS THIS????
I saw a sound bite on the news this morning where Rep. Gene Taylor (one of my faves by the way) asked Robert Gates how sending 20,000 more soldiers into a country where 61 percent of the people polled approve of attacking U.S. soldiers, would possibly help quell the violence. Gates claimed ignorance, admitting "I'm no expert on Iraq".

W.T.F.??? Wasn't Gates part of the IRAQ STUDY GROUP?? Is he admitting that the ISG was a big sham and a total waste of our taxpayer dollars, or is he admitting that he's a total idiot and didn't learn anything? I'd laugh at their silliness, but people are dieing over there by the thousands.

Whose side are these people on? I can't figure it out.

2. They are on the side of keeping the violence going.
If you keep the chaos active, you can keep stealing. They still have a lot to do...launch wars against Iran, Syria, steal oil from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Somalia...you can't do that shit without the cover of chaos. Besides, their still might be some money to steal from the US treasury.

We're pirates.

3. His Lieameter broke down
It goes to show that within 2000 words of lies five or six must poke out there as telling the truth.

4. On a positive note,
if there's another major hurricane during his tenure, he's well qualified to step in. Heck of a job, Gatesy!

6. it smells of corruption

have you noticed that both saddam hussein and omar bin laden were both recruited by american intelligence agency. that many of the people involved with this are or were in this administration in one form or another. Rumsfeld during the bombing of the kurds, gates during
bin laden, using terrorism as a reason to attack IRAQ,when oil was the agenda is well within the possibilities of this group. with Cheney the point man!
think about it

8. Saddam was basically our go-to guy until his Kuwait invasion. And
some folks believe Kuwait wouldn't have happened if Saddam hadn't basically been given a green light by the Ambassador at the time, either deliberately or because of miscommunication.

9. I doubt seriously that it was a miscommunication..
but you always have to have an element of plausible deniability. Whenever you state the case to a freeper that we sold Saddam all of his weapons, or that the CIA trained OBL, they go ballistic. Hey, the truth hurts.

5. Well, I teach History
but I am no expert on History. As a matter of fact, I don't really know anything about it. Why should I?? :)
