4. It is snowing

in Southern California??? I must have missed this, been out trying to shore up horses for the ice storm that comes our way.

Crazy, wacky weather. It was 67 degrees here (I know you lived here for a while, thought that might make you go :wtf:) and today it is 14 degrees. Light, small snow for now but if it warms up tomorrow we are in for a good old ice storm. :scared:

and the time my husband left for work today, the pavement was dry...but by the time he made it to work (30 minutes later), he had driven through, fog, rain, sleet and blowing snow. :shrug:

I will happily just hunker down at home all day.. Maybe I'll cook up a pot of chili :) It's stew & soup weather in SoCal

6. Mmmmmm

I am stuck with whatever I can microwave out here at the farm but I am warm and content once the chores are done.

We once were in Palm Springs visiting a relative and we went out in clear 90 degrees, through a sand storm, up into the mountains and into a blizzard and 6 inches of snow. It was really pretty cool, we even stopped to see the wildflowers on the east side of the mountain. Interesting. Hunker down and enjoy your chili!

7. update.. byt the time I got the camera out to take pics, it was already melting

It never got about 48 or so today.. brrrr-y for us desert rats :)
