DU meet-up at National Convention?

A thread about becoming a delegate to National got me thinking. It is probably too early to make concrete plans, but what the hey.

If there were a DU meet-up at the National Convention, would you attend? Something off the convention floor so non-delegates could attend and within walking or transit distance from the convention site so that delegates could attend. For the sake of argument, let's make this meet-up just a meet-and-greet with drinks and light eats, with a nominal cover charge ($5? $10?) to cover costs. Assume that we can coax some of the party leaders to put in an appearance so they can press the flesh (I think DU has enough stature to pull in a few luminaries.)

And folks from Denver: how difficult would something like this be to set up, do you think?

and depending on the schedule, I would certainly try to be there. Guess it depends on what else goes on. If I'm not able to become a delegate, I wouldn't make a trip to Denver.

as all our rights are stripped away from us the moment we walk into an airport. denver is only an 8 hour drive. have a friend i can stay with too. so i can see making thr trip
