WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush on Saturday challenged lawmakers skeptical of his new Iraq plan to propose their own strategy for stopping the violence in Baghdad.

"To oppose everything while proposing nothing is irresponsible," Bush said.

8. I REALLY REALLY like the way Dick Durbin put it.

We went into Iraq to depose Saddam, insure there are no WMD, and to bring a democracy to the Iraqi people. We have succeeded in all of the goals we had when we invaded Iraq. Now that we have achieved this great success, with the help of our brave soldiers, it's time to come home.

10. Absolutely. I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Durbin. Sadly it falls on the deaf ears of our CIC.

The earlier comment says it all. The Baker Hamilton Commission spelled it out for the little bastard yet he chooses to ignore it. The nerve of him to imply there have been NO alternatives.
