Laura Bush Attacked Condi For Being w/o Family - So Why The Hoohah Over Boxer?

From a Bella DePaulo article published on The Huffington Post site
12.17.2006

Laura Bush gives Condi Rice "The Singles Treatment," and Only
Keith Olbermann Notices

Here's what the First Lady told People Magazine:

"Dr. Rice, who I think would be a really good candidate (for
President), is not interested. Probably because she is single, her
parents are no longer living, she's an only child. You need a very
supportive family and supportive friends to have this job."

Huh. This little snarky incident was at the height of all the rumors
of an affair between her George and Condi. Maybe it was Laura
who was single at this time?

1. Actually, I think it was Nancy Pelosi who made that statement.

5. Those on the right are desperate for a little distraction right now
to get attention away from Bush's very unpopular decision to send more troops to Iraq. They are going to look for anything, no matter how small, that they can magnify to show Democrats in a bad light to keep people from discussing the really important issues. It's just their usual sideshow and smear campaign.

6. Distract and attack
distract and attack

Boxer did nothing wrong. As did Dan Rather. As did John Kerry.
As did Howard Dean & his scream .....

pure Creative Response Concepts (among others)
