What happened to "Fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here"?
Bush and the Republicans told us that the Iraq War would pin Al Qaeda in Iraq.

So, why are we bombing nomads in an effort to kill Al Qaeda terrorists in Somalia?

6. SURGE!
New talking points, the olds ones don't mean anything, never did and the public has started to figure that out so they roll out some new phrases.

It has morphed into "fighting them over there so they won't
follow us back onto our streets over here."

7. Same as Vietnam. We had to fight them there so we wouldn't have to fight em here.
And we left, and now there's a Vietnamese restaurant not three miles from my house! :scared:

8. Too many syllables
Just doesn't have the same zip as some of their other marketing slogans, such as, "Cut and Run", "Tax and Spend", and, "Stay the Course". In order to get the sheeple to fall in line, they need catchy, short jingles that they can repeat over and over so that any moran can understand.

9. I heard that exact quote this past week
when Mr. bush was talking to the troops at Ft. Benning GA.

I couldn't believe he still uses that tired bit of propaganda now days.
