People did not vote in a wholesale change in the House for the last minute 100 hr. plan, bi-partisanship, or any other bogus reason people like to give. I know that. You know that. So why go along with this pretense? Why is our party so pedestrian on this issue? We have a constitution and Bill of Rights that has been under assault and neutered and there's the writ of habeus corpus that has been suspended with the MCA. There are further plans to do more spying on the U.S. population in further violation of our Bill of Rights. The neocon dream of global hegemony through war and military base establishment is still ongoing with provocations underway to provoke Iran and Syria to further expand warfare. If you don't want to do anything more about it, continue to sit on your hands as our party continues the "impeachment is off the table" position. But ask yourself this question. Why IS this position the position of our party. WHERE is the LOGIC? I honestly cannot find ANY. And if you're HONEST with YOURSELVES, you know it.

We are so militarized we can't even see it any more.

(and have been for sometime, just count our bases internationally), that doesn't mean we have to start wars for global hegemony (since we already have that to some degree). I also say that the word impeachment thrown into those hearings would garner the attention that would force coverage by the networks. We've gone through a boatload of hearings that were on C-Span already that have done very little to change debate and perceptions.

I never watch the talk shows or network news and don't read the print media except in LBN and in the ER forum. The only thing I seem to miss is the latest distracting flap.


If Nancy doesn't want to bring up impeachment, maybe we need to do it for her. We need to blog it, freeway blog it, wear it, email it. Look for opportunities to bring it up to both Congress and constituents.
