With all this talk of 24...question... do y'all think that Curtis is dead?

I'm not sure...

Poor Jack...

Seriously, its only a fictional TV show!

I worry more about all the people who watch American Idol and Wife Swap! Talk about the dumbing down of America! Seems like more of a Rethuglican/Neocon plot to me! And effective too!

1. yup...
24 has had a long history of killing off major characters... If they croaked off Tony Almeada a season or so back, they'd certainly (permanently) kill off Curtis.

That being said, I think there is a mix of thought provoking actions and events that will both piss off and enlighten progressives and repugs/neocons alike... It is just a show, but not one I'd let young kids watch...

5. I agree with that. It is NOT for young children
Well...I'm sorry to see Curtis go... He was a good character, but then again so were Tony and Michelle...

It is a good thought provoking show. My husband and I are blue all the way through but we still enjoy the show. And as progressives, we see a lot of parallels to the current administration in the program... and frankly are somewhat surprised that Fox would air a program that in some ways slams the current powers that be. Just mho

2. Now THERE'S a good point
I stopped watching 24 a couple of years ago, but that was just circumstantial, I really like the show. I think Kiefer is awesome too.

3. I think he's really dead.
:-(

I liked him a lot. I hate it when they kill off the CTU agents. I'm still not over Edgar!

If they ever kill off Chloe, I'll lose my mind!

:-(

I hate it that 24 allows us to get attached to the characters and then takes them away ... but knowing that no one is safe does make the show more exciting.

Honestly ... I wouldn't mind if Milo and Morris fell down an elevator shaft or something. Those two are already getting on my nerves!

4. He was bound to be killed off sooner or later.
Anyone who hangs around Jack too long gets killed.

10. Absolutely
Jack vomited after he shot him...and Jack Bauer does not vomit when he kills people. He just doesn't.

12. Well hell! If you had just spent 2 years in a Chinese prison, you might
vomit from the culture shock. Or not.
