Which Dem candidate would be most effective? I think the Iraqi people need inspiration.

5. There is no Democratic Candidate appropriate
It is an Iraqi problem specific to their culture. Anyone not of their culture will be seen as an interloper. Someone attepting to control them or undermine them. As you can imagine they might be a tad suspicious.

30. Yes sure it does. Dumbass thinks he's 'fixing this mess'.
I don't think that a 'fix' is possible. I don't even think a fix is ethical. We have no right to do anything other than take our troops and get out. That will not 'fix' Iraq, it will end our illegal occupation of that country.

Of those running, Obama or Kucinich.

20. Al Gore
He's the most mature, wisest of the lot of them as far as i'm concerned.

The others, however much i like their politics, do not move me as persons.

Al Gore leads from the front, and i'm with such a man all the way.

22. Just get out...
Get off their soil and quit meddling. We can't get the lives or the billions back, but we can stop further death. And we need to stay off their land (getting off oil dependancy would go a long way toward this). That is why Osama struck us in the first place on 9/11. He warned us many times to stay off their land. We need smart leaders that understand diplomacy. We don't need to offending countries right and left causing global nuclear escalation and possible annialation. Any of the democrats have better ideas than the idiot does. He has failed at absolutely every biz he has tried. Was amazed at the interview the other day where he said something like, I hate to seem defensive but I have had successes, Saddam is gone... "For Gods sake!" This idiot can't come up with anything he has done right other than Saddam (which can certainly be argued isn't a success; the Iraqi people would absolutely like to have Iraq back the way it was right now)?

24. The 3 potential candidates capable of doing the right thing immediately- Gore, Kerry, Clark
Everyone else will be in a position of playing serious catch up on global AND military issues that are immensely complex.

25. Peace negotiations with Sunnis, Shites and Khurds. Where they
decide who to forgive and all. As someone pointed out the other day Northern Ireland and South Africa didn't get to peace without Amnesty.

Hands down. IMO, none in the field, including Gore, could hold a candle to the intelligence and knowledge of either of these two.
