When we are trying to create media attention for something why write the offenders?

I was just thinking about my post about Paul Harvey and his racial remarks on MLKD on ABC radio.

Daily KOS asks everyone to write Paul Harvey and ABC??? My guess is that they will just try to hush it up. Why would they want to call attention to one of their people being a racist?

My question is: Why write the people who don't want it to get any attention? Why not write all the other media outlets and get them to do a story on it? It gives them a chance to hammer the competition.

I would think CBS, CNN and NBC would love to hear about this and do a story on it. It's controversial and would get ratings.

When the Mafia kills someone do you write the Mafia and tell them to stop or do you call the police? Thats the best analogy I could come up with.

Am I missing something here?

the media needs to be told about these abuses of the Air waves(radio & TV) and the false news they are spreading, however they will also cover-up stories that are against their interests of the Corporate Media(CM).

The best example is the one that Spocko has exposed with the radio station KSFO in the Bay area, he sent the offending news or radio statements to the ADVERTISERS. Questioning the advertisers, are they willing to promote hate-speech?

After all follow the money and hit them where it really hurts. It's the only way they will respond to the will of the people!!
