It's good...I think my in-laws had voated for Reagan twice, Bush 41 at least once - probably twice...but would never have the guts to admit it to me. I admire them FOR THEIR FEAR OF ME!!

I know most people here think the PSA's are some sort of Bush-sponsored license to loot, but the fact is, that's the only way the Iraqis are going to get any oil out of the ground. Unlike countries that have much better deals with their oil exploiters, the Iraqi oil infrastructure is 40 years old at the newest, and has been repeatedly blowed up for the past 16 years.

The PSA is necessary to give the oil companies (and there's no guarantee they'll be Western; could easily be Russian or Chinese) the incentive to rebuild the infrastructure. They're still gambling money at that; if oil prices drop much below $40 a barrel, there won't be any profits to share, and they'll still have all that expense.

Now, the DETAILS of the PSA is where the corruption and exploitation could lie; unless you read Arabic, you're probably going to have a hard time deciphering the oil law that the Iraqi parliament passed last summer, which I believe recently went into effect.
