are the democrats trying to get constitution change from electoral
vote to the popular vote.

has any democrats put that out on the floor in the last couple days. my father is saying that fox said that is what dems are going for because of gore

1. It would need a constitutional amendment
There is no way that any of the little States would support it. The electoral system gives them a lot more power in Presidential elections than any popular vote would.

Personally I'd love to see an end to the Electoral College, IMO it outlived it's usefulness the minute the telegraph was invented.

3. i would have to look at the issue closer. but i am really looking to see
if democrats, any elected democrat has said anything in the last couple days. or have been talking about it. i have not

7. I've heard nothing mentioned recently
by any Democrat regarding this directly but some States are moving on their own to take away some of the EC power by forcing the EC member to vote the way the national popular vote goes.

4. well, at least i was able to convince him that just maybe, fox is putting it out to
scare everyone with the dems. and that i have not seen any mention that dems have talked about this at all. if anyone has heard, still i would like to know. he CALLED ME to talk POLITICS. we haent talked politics since before 2004. wow. this is going to be hard. two nights in a row.

A Constitutional Amendment is an extremely long process and there is no popular support for such a move.
