Corporate fascist front organization (Unionfacts.com) runs full page ad
in the Washington Post picturing the President of UNITEHERE Bruce Raynor next to Kim Jong Il and Fidel Castro.

I won't even go to their site to get a link, I don't want those bastards knowing who is hitting them.

Would the Washington Post accept a full page ad picturing the chimp next to Hitler and Stalin I wonder?

By the way, this organization is run by none other than Republican operative Wayne Berman.

:grr:

2. I would run a picture of the (ex)Home Depot CEO Nardelli
next to bank robbers John Dillenger and Willie Sutton. Also other greedy CEO's with Ivan Boesky, Michael Milken and Ken Lay, to explain why we need unions.

3. unions
Who got us the 40 hour work week? who got us weekends? Who got us health care benefits? National Health & Safety standards? Pregnancy leave? Arbitration? Retirement benefits?

that's right... unions.

When Unions have good leadership they are powerful entities. Unfortunately they've been eviscerated since Reagan and membership has been declining for decades. The courts continue to rule in favor of big business and unless Unions can GROW i'm afraid their influence will wane.

Here's to the Dem Majority and its potential partnership with Unions!
:toast:

BTW, Clark just gave a speech at a local somewhere and he stressed the importance of STRENGTHENING the Unions across the country... there was a thread on it, i'll see if i can find it.
