C-SPAN, by charter, is required to broadcast "gavel-to-gavel" coverage of the floor of the House (C-CPAN1) and Senate (C-SPAN2) when they're in session. (I don't know about C-SPAN3 - I've never gotten it.)

He NAILED the lying little asshole about getting the info ~~ NO MATTER how Gonzo tried to deflect it. Gonzo said something about the members of the committee not being satisifed with the info they got/are getting, and Schumer nailed him with something along the lines that he, Schumer, was not satisfied and he was now asking for the info and he Gonzo had to give it to him in camera (closed hearing) that was just fine.

Then Leahy jumped in and carried the point futher re: the history of trying to get info on what was going on in the FISA court.

Tell them that the public DEMANDS that they go after corruption first and foremost. If they don't prosecute illegals and smugglers enough, then WHY don't they offer them more resources to do so in a way that will still allow them to go after corruption at the same time. If they aren't then those at the top responsible for funding their efforts (and responsible for the greater incidents of corruption to go after to begin with) are the ones at fault! NOT these prosecutors that appear to be faced with a Hobson's choice by Bushco!

Sessions has apparently gotten his talking points from the WH.

Said that there was a letter of complaint signed by "nineteen" congressmen about the fact that this particular attorney wasn't aggressive enough about prosecuting illegal aliens.

We know the drill: these 19 congressmen got their marching orders from the WH to set the wheels of dismissal in motion for this attorney.

Cleaning house as a warning to other federal judges before this administration gets in the defendant's chair, I suppose, in this administration's warped mind; in reality, this anti-American tactic come back to bite them.

without commercials. This is hugely important to the citizens. I'm tracking this through these threads for now since I'm not at home and will have to return to class soon. I wish I could pick it up on NPR because I have a radio with me.

He did come from a family of 8 living in a 2 bedroom house and so forth but he really got picked up by W a long time ago and carried around as a "Look at me I have a Latino friend" prop.

Sorry but I have yet to see anything from him that suggests otherwise.
