Musgrave receives poop in mail.
I know this isn't right. But there's a little part of me that's laughing on the inside.

At least the lady didn't choose violence.

What Weld County prosecutors see as the misuse of a rancid pile of dog feces, Kathleen Ensz's defense attorneys see as an expression of the First Amendment.

Ensz is accused of going into her backyard in May, obtaining a piece of excrement, placing it in an unwanted political mailer and slipping in under the door of U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave's office.



Ensz, a Democrat, was angered by repeatedly receiving mailings from Musgrave, a Republican whom she does not like. She decided to vent her frustration by packaging and presenting the feces, according to court filings.

Prosecutors have charged Ensz - a 63-year-old retired French professor at the University of Northern Colorado - with misdemeanor "use of a noxious substance."






Great...she's a college professor...AND she teaches French. The right will be pleasuring themselves over this story for the next couple of weeks.

Of someone more deserving of a poop package, I cannot imagine.

27. Sending crap to a political opponent apears WRONG.
OK, I have seen in the past websites that allow people to send such crap anonymously. Apparently this woman decided not to wait and merely placed the crap at the place of the office of the Representative. People found her out and arrested her. I don't condone this but If she had sent the crap anonymously she would not have had this problem.

Actually crap does have diseases potentially in it so I would not want to receive something like this in the mail.

However this does not make me in agreement of those Representatives in the Republican party as far as policy goes.

No doubt musgraves mailouts were incredibly noxious and incorrect in nature. She's a fucking "conservative." It could be no other way. I've seen some of the garbage that "conservatives" mail out in this part of the country. They obviously have zero respect for people who vote for them.

People do not feel represented, they do not have easy access to have their opinions heard, and so they lash out with "seemingly" outrageous tactics.

It's human nature..

It's why toddlers throw tantrums, why teenagers "act-out"....

When people are not heard, they do whatever it takes to BE heard..


Poop, pies in the face, signs hidden away until a camera is aimed their way.. It's all a form of protest. Protest that gets stifled in the public arena , just gets re-directed in other inventive ways..

Humans are resourceful critters :)

24. When I lived in her district, I received all kinds of mailings
from MM,,,, not just her 'report card' BUT her political "vote for me" stuff.

I would call her office and demand to be removed from her campaign mailing list,,,, I would draw a mustache on her picture and mail it back and demand to be removed from her mailing list,,,,

I have to tell you I sooooo understand this woman's frustration. AND all of me thinks it's funny :rofl:

I need to see if Ms. Ensz has a defense fund setup and help her out :)

28. Back in the 1970's there was "send a turd to Nixon"
if you opposed escalation of the War in Viet Nam. I don't know if anyone ever did it but they were talking about it, so my guess is that somebody probably did.
