This thing is still not passed, am I correct? Is there any information out there on when Congress plans on passing it through? Mama WIMR is a real estate agent dealing with a client whose deal is falling apart because of a weird contract with RD (rural development) in Washington--the money the buyer on her listing needs is in limbo until the budget gets passed and money is reallocated, or so the feds say, anyway.

Any info, preferably with links to news articles for confirmation for Mama WIMR, would be much appreciated.

2. Steely Dan rules
and so do my research skills. What I found was this
http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2007/message.html
What that tells me is that Bush submitted his budget on 6 Feb last year. So it is likely he will submit one in Feb of this year.

Okay, now this tells me the budget was signed on 8 Feb.

Did it get passed that fast?
This press release, dated Jan. 3, says 'next month I (George W. Bush) will submit a five year budget'
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/01/20070103.html

All I find in the other press releases is that it was signed on 8 Feb. It may take longer this year if there are vetoes and threats of vetoes, etc. I don't know what the timetable is for shut-down of the government of when it MUST BE passed.
