I know this doesn't mean much but everyone I know thinks Bush should be removed

Beyond DU I associate with the same couple of hundred people every week and there is not much we ever all agree on. Everyone has there own idea how Iraq should be handled and who should be the next president and such.

But on Bush everyone seems to be in a agreement. He has to go. I live in a red part of Illinois. Many of these people voted for Bush I know for sure. They say he has to go too.

Anyone else noticed people talking this way around them? And I don't mean people just saying they don't like Bush. Are they talking about removing him from office around you?

3. I am mainly around newspaper people and they are conditioned to NOT voice their
opinions.

I believe it is as you say - Most Americans WANT Bush removed from power and want the Dems to do the investigation s that will lead to his resignation or removal.

I admit to enjoying the fantasy of kicking and screaming. And, possibly, all his Presidential seal logo-ed paraphrenalia in huge black garbage bags on the White House lawn.

When anyone mentions his name in my office/circle of friends, people roll their eyes. We don't even have to talk about it anymore because EVERYONE knows he's a nutjob. Even my in-laws in the military roll their eyes (they aren't at liberty to really speak out, but they send PLENTY of signals that they don't support him anymore).

12. Great, but we need to remove the whole bunch of them. How
do your acquaintances feel about that? I mean would it be okay with them if Cheney or someone other of the insiders group takes charge? It wouldn't be with me or most other DUers I would guess.

14. I noticed it a little Tuesday and a lot more today
People are raising there voices when they talk about Bush without even realizing it. Its mostly Bush they are blaming right now. They talk like people who have been flim-flammed by someone.

13. Impeached? Not so much from anyone who wasn't already convinced
** should be impeached. I'll admit that I was floored about a 2 yrs. ago when one of my mother's lifelong republican friends stated that ** had turned her in to Democrat for the the 4 election cycles if she lives that long. My republican mother won't even mention ** by name anymore and she was absolutely giddy when the Dems took control of the House and Senate. She wants some control and accountability exerted upon he who must not be named anymore (**).

Perhaps with more investigations, coupled with the fact that he seems hellbent on acting like a little dictator, more and more people will begin openly talking about it? I can only hope.
