3. I was very disappointed
With it, i thought it was weak, I'm just hoping its going to be a set up for Colbert's show.

7. Me too, but it was because O'Reilly asked such dull questions
Edited on Thu Jan-18-07 10:12 PM by Quixote1818
O'Reilly didn't give Colbert anything to work with.

On edit, I got the impression O'Reilly was intimidated by Colbert. You could tell O'Reilly didn't like Colbert but tried to be nice because he knew Colbert would rip him a new ass hole if he gave him any kind of an opening.

10. He had to be nice. Here's why:
O'Reilly tapes before Colbert does, I believe. So he couldn't take it too far in order to make sure Billo would actually show up for Colbert's show.

Wait for the Repor' tonight, it'll be gloves off no doubt. And especially considering Colbert will be on home turf.

6. WOW. I've never seen O'Lielly so subdued or manhandled before.
Colbert should have a segment on the "Factor" every day.

11. Did you notice he subtly referred to the Loofa Incident at the end?

15. Great comment.
I liked Colbert in this -- pretty sly performance.

9. I don't think Orally knew what to do with him
And unfortunately he was the one asking questions. When Colbert is asking the questions, things may change.

12. Colbert definitely won that round but it wasn't a knock out
I think it was a mistake for O'Reilly to do this. O'Reilly is going to lose some viewers to Colbert after this is all said and done. It was great to hear the people back stage laughing at Colbert's jokes. They probably hate working with O'Reilly.
