Post again for the east-coast crowd, and cross-post to the E&E forum. This has VERY obviously been freeped - the Post isn't that far right (yet).

:kick:

I'll try to track this and refer to it on other posts. Bookmarked.

Edited for - Hey, leftof, did you have any major crap with the blizzards? It was colder in CO and surrounding states lately than it is here in Interior Alaska! :hi:

3. it is wicked cold still
we'll have icebergs until June. I got through okay. Car got stuck a couple of times and had a little damage from the icy rutted streets.

The pond on my back deck is frozen solid. Chai, my Siberian Husky, loves it.

7. Kicking, cuz I only get the hiccups when I drink champagne....
and for other (obvious) reasons, like SOMEONE needs to be sure the Post gets unfreeped!!!

Glad your wintry experience wasn't too bad. Husky's are great with cold/snow/ice - I volunteer with the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race every year and it amazes me what these dogs like. They HATE warmer weather (won't run at 20 above!) and HATE sitting around!! LOVE THEM DOGS!

I have cats at home, and it makes me laugh when people say their cats don't do snow. Mine have their own little paths all over the back yard (cat-proofed, they can't get out) and will go out until it gets 20 below or cooler.
