Poll question: Should the Congress introduce a non-binding no confidence resolution against Bush?
Edited on Fri Jan-19-07 07:34 PM by originalpckelly
If the Senate and the House can pass a non-binding resolution on Iraq, why not do one for their confidence in Bush's leadership?

It might even ask him and the VP to resign.

Would you support this?

3. Not instead of a binding one or something more fitting, like impeachment...
...but, at least, to be on record.

9. should'nt all resolutions regarding bushler be binding as possible?
action is what is needed. action is what matters. impeachment is what is required, not a whine.

non-binding resolutions are just posturing and politicking and gives politicians to to Nothing and pretend they did something.

10. Well, in this case, the only action which could happen...
would be the calling for elections, but of course the Congress can't do that.

11. No, they should spend the debating and voting time passing something with teeth.

12. This non-binding crap is ridiculous.
It's all meaningless shit. Colbert had it right the other night when "Symbolic" was the "Word". Basically he was saying that we didn't vote these people in to not take any real action. And passing non-binding resolutions is not taking any real action. There is overwhelming evidence to impeach and convict these bastards, so much evidence that it would be impossible for anyone to not vote to convict and still keep their job. But they won't do it. The more I look at this kind of shit the more I'm convinced that those who say the two party system is just designed to keep us distracted from the people that really run the show, the corporations and world banks, are correct.

13. Meaningless lip service is no substitute for their Constitutional duty.
Impeach. Remove, Indict. Convict. Imprison. (Rinse. Repeat.)
