MY NEW CAR

I bought a new Lexus 350 and returned to the dealer the next day because I couldn't get the radio to work. The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated. "Nelson," the salesman said to the radio. The radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?" "Willie!" he continued and "On The road Again" came from the speakers. Then he said, "Ray Charles!", and in an instant "Georgia On My Mind" replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, "Beethoven," I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said, "Beatles," I'd get one of their awesome songs.

Yesterday, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed my new car, but I swerved in time to avoid them. I yelled, "Ass Holes!" Immediately the French National Anthem began to play, sung by Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand, backed up by Michael Moore and The Dixie Chicks, with John Kerry on guitar, Al Gore on drums, Dan Rather on harmonica, Nancy Pelosi on tambourine, Harry Reid on spoons, Bill Clinton on sax and Ted Kennedy on Scotch.

Damn, I LOVE this car!

I did not get this directly from the address listed in the message it was forwarded to me by somebody else.

1. all that is needed is to change the punchline to a highlight
of bush and dick clips... the "16 words" in a SOTU speech; one of dick's sunday talkfest shows where he lies about al queada and 911 links followed by him stating on another one about how he never said there was a connection. Oh - throw in Rummy's little "we know where the WMDs are... outside Tikrit"...

2. Long setup to make a bad joke.
You can see where they are headed a mile away.

I would have much sooner had him say a$$hole and Rush Limbaugh come on the radio.

3. After some research
I discovered the Lexus 350 is built in Japan (these days you can never be sure).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_ES

So the Irony is that this "patriot" doesn't even drive an American made car.

So I guess we could substitute a Cadilac CTS for the car and America Right on XM channel 166 for "Assholes".

But it's still a bad joke.
