An opportunity exists for the Democrats in 2008
We have two sets of candidates running for president:

Those who voted for the IWR and pushed our involvment into Iraq, and those who voted against the IWR, realizing that it violated the war powers act

During the last six years the Democrats in Congress helped create this imperial presidency, and I'll be damned if I'll vote for ANYONE who helped move us into Iraq

Is their excuse going to be that the bush administration misled them?

Those who were against are involvment in Iraq in the first place, saw that Iraq was no threat, should be rewarded for doing the right thing.

Any candidate who jumped on the band wagon getting us into Iraq DOES NOT DESERVE OUR SUPPORT.

We can actually choose a candidate to represent us. One who will not have to back away from their vote on the Iraq war. It is time to take our party BACK from the DLC.

1. I can't base my support on a single issue
I'm going to weigh all of the issues and choose the candidate I feel is best.

3. Of course that is a personal decision, but for me this ONE issue
ties into so many other issues that it becomes the number one issue for me

For the last six years Congress has allowed their oversight to be taken away, and I cannot support anyone who helped it along

2. That is really lame to claim they were dumb enough to believe *!
They were many other voices, Ritter, Blitz, Clark, and a host of others.

The plan wasn't that well hidden and it was heartbreaking having to set
back and watch the script unfold! I'll never forgive the enablers for
their part in the slaughter!

5. If we reward IWR enablers, then we set a dangerous precedent.....
Reward an IWR enabler today and you'll end up rewarding them again and again down the line.
