thought McGruff the crime fighting dog was stupid. What makes these people think that everything kids should learn should come from a cartoon character. Maybe that's why they don't take much of anything seriously.

7. My daughter who is teaching in a Los Angeles public elementary school
reports that uniformed militiary people are making regular visits to build rapport with the kids. These are kids who haven't had a lot of positive role models or self-esteem building experiences, and they are really bonding with these (recruiters?).

to be prepared for an emergency?

The readiness plans DHS uses this lion & its family to teach will come in handy in case of hurricane, flood, brush fire, earthquake....

And the first thing I noticed, which surprised me, is that the "dad" lion isn't wearing a gun.
