I could, you know, ignore everything I was taught in college about evolution and, like, you know, pretend that there is no fossil record, or that specialized complex animals don't exist, or "forget" that evolution/adaptation of bacteria in labs is easier to detect and witness than in nature because of massive differences in lifespans... You know, things of that sort.
I'm not a biology teacher. And I haven't spoken to the Washington Post about evolution. But I'm just sayin' that IF I was one AND I wanted to cash in a little OR I was a religious zealot masquerading as an expert on science, I could have one printed voice against many thousands by saying something outlandish, like there really isn't much evidence of evolution.
