'Cuomo' angers Bush
President Bush was so angry when Acting Attorney General Jim Comey blocked his secret program to spy on Americans, he called the former Manhattan prosecutor a name no red-blooded Republican wants to hear - Cuomo.

Bush dubbed Comey after former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, a staunchly liberal Democrat, Newsweek reported this week.

Comey, who was filling in for ailing then-Attorney General John Ashcroft when he questioned the legality of the eavesdropping program, later resigned.

Bush likes to give nicknames to friends and aides, but they usually reflect a measure of presidential affection.
Neither Comey nor Cuomo could be reached for comment.

1. You can bet Cuomo will have something to say about this
little creep that plays god.

Comey is acting like a scare dog with his tail attached by crazy glue between his legs.

4. Didn't Comey appoint Fitz, then confirm that he could not be removed and
had the AG's powers to investigate further than just the leak?

And the same one who stood up to King George and said no wiretaps, I'm not going to sign off on your program?

How is he acting like a scare dog?

6. Comey is a brave man. Calling him a scared dog is just wrong.
It sounds to me that this guy waged a one man battle against the excesses of this administration during his time in the Justice Department.

He also was the honest man responsible for appointing another honest man, Patrick Fitzgerald, who has been unravelling who in this administration blew the cover of yet another honest man, Joseph Wilson's CIA Agent wife.

He deserves better.

10. I think that our defense against the dark arts is going to have to
be played out like a very well planned rugby play. People are going to have to run with the ball for short distances and pass it, right before they get tackled. A smart man would already know who he was going to pass it to, before he got the ball.

13. Brave men should take a risk for their country like Daniel Ellsberg
and Tony Russo did. They faced a ton of jail time to get the Pentagon Papers.

Perhaps your right, he does deserve better? But so do we, when the chips are down, and our rights are on the table. What do I know?

3. In this case, it was a complement
though an unintentional one for having some hint of integrity.

How dare that underling question the divine mandate of the Emperor!

5. So Cuomo is a bad word among the repugs, but Turd Blossom or
Pickles is OK? Yet another sign of the dumbing down of the presidency.
