Bush ordering people killed in the US is Unconstitutional
The 5th Amendment to the Constitution states that:

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

1. That is not in the Double Lucky Special Super Secret Shrub Constitution
The constitution you are quoting is irrelevant. It is SO pre-9/11. It is a relic of the past. Nobody follows THAT old thing any longer. The Double Lucky Special Super Secret Shrub Constitution is in full force now. Only one, simple article: "I getta do whatever I wanna." Much easier. No worries about freedom, rights, courts, congresses, checks and balances. They just get in the way of catchin the terra-ists.

2. It's just words on a piece of paper.
Our rights mean nothing without enforcement of them, and that must be done by people with both the will and the power do so. Currently one or both of the later characteristics seem absent in all our institutions and the public at large.

6. IF * only wire taps 'suspected' Al Queda AND he spied on thousands
would THOSE thousands be subject to super judicial extermination also? Of course we DID find out that 99.999% were innocent Americans, but would that REALLY MATTER?

8. It has got to be fun to be King.
I think Bush was into the bottle to long and killed off to many gray cells. He has got to be the most closed minded man we have ever had as President. He does seem to be standing at the head of some really odd people who just love him. But then what will happen when that other church does not think just like we do? How to believe becomes more clear all the time and Bush is setting how you will think. It seems to be fine with his base right now but they do not seem to see that even the base will be looked at and judges if this keeps up. This is always how it has worked.

9. That "G-d Damn piece of paper" doesn't pertain to the lawless repukes.
They don't have to follow laws or abide by the Constitution of the United States of America. Pshaw! That "G-d Damn piece of paper" is for their lowly peon subjects....Democrats and the dredges of society, the American citizens.

11. The law and the Constitution are to prevent BAD people from
doing things that are wrong. Good and righteous people are allowed to do what they deem is best for all the rest of us.

12. Also Note: It says nothing about citizenship.
It says "NO PERSON". This is the same Amendment that makes holding prisoners captured in the U.S. in gitmo illegal.

17. Note - the amendment does not say anything about citizenship
In other words, it doesn't apply just to US citizens, it applies to everyone in this country.

18. And not just "in this country..."
...but ANYWHERE UNDER U.S. JURISDICTION. Which means in embassies, in territories we administer such as Guam, Puerto Rico, etc., and in areas we currently OCCUPY AND CONTROL.

Like....?

pedagogically,
Bright
