3. This was the first time I heard that slowed-down tape of Chimpy.
They should do some of that every day. Absolutely priceless.

I might even be willing to listen to the next State of the Union if they slow it down a little.

4. Yes, but...
George Bush: President of most powerful nation on earth.
John Kerry: Junior senator from minority party.

We'll be the majority party again soon! As for Kerry, he's got a whole lot of seniority after 22 years. He's something like the 12th most senior member of the Senate. That, and being a former presidential candidate, gives him a fair amount of political capital. :)

Meanwhile, Chimpy's political capital has been squandered and lost, and he's made us the most hated nation in the world.

7. This has what importance to their merit as people
Without the complicity of the media and the use of terror by the party that controlled all three branches of government, we might have had a fair election. John Kerry still has the integrity and strength of character he showed over the course of his life. George Bush is a grown up version of the frat boy who got notice at Yale for branding other students. Even if Kerry never becomes President he has already been a force for good and is a decent, moral human being - which Bush will never be.

8. The way things are going
the chances are good that even red staters will snap out of their daydream and elect a Dem in '08 just to save what's left of their hides.
