The Daily Show did a piece on Pharmacist refusing Morning after pill
...requests due to "religious reasons."

As they always do, they pointed out the hidden irony. Must see if this issue matters to you.

Relay coming up in a few minutes. 1:05am ET (or so)

1. Controlling womens bodies is a big thing
to the religious right. We'll just go elsewhere for our prescription needs.

4. The best line from the report was...
...he said to the Pharmacist, "How dare the Government make a moral judgment for you, that's your job to make for the woman." I couldn't really hear what he mumble after that.

8. I couldn't hear what he mumbled either. I was hooting too hard.
It was a great report. I liked the line at the end when the reporter said something along the lines of "the battle will continue to determine whether the pharmacist will control the woman's body, or whether the governor will control the woman's body."

Too fucking true. :grr:

2. Maybe somebody could do a recap?
Some of us only have a monitor and dial-up, no TV as in cable, satellite, even reception ... well, maybe just me ;)

3. A couple of good quotes (from memory)
To pouty pharmacist regarding governor insisting they must fill prescriptions: How dare the governor impose his religious beliefs on you when you are the one who is suppose to do that to the women?

When pouty pharmacist insisted women can go to another pharmacy: what's a few extra blocks when you've been a victim of incest
