PHOTOS: We have NOT forgotten, Mr. President (GRAPHIC)
Edited on Fri Feb-10-06 04:06 AM by Bluebear

When asked by a reporter why he did not return from his vacation earlier than last Thursday, three days after the hurricane hit, the vice president snapped: "I came back four days early."
And you can see why Cheney is so testy. He had to miss four days of his vacation to help a bunch of people who probably had never voted Republican in their lives.

....and, Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job.

1. I saw some of these shots in Aug. I forgot how horrible it was.
If these leaders can't function at 100%, they should get out of the way, and let someone with a greater capacity to care guide this country. Is this the best our money can buy? We were so ripped off. If it is accepted that corporate america is pulling the strings of this country, then I want my money back via a tax rebate.

52. Just one of the sad things about it is the dog
Look at it's ribs. More likely that was someones loving pet who had to be abandoned because the ASSHOLES at FEMA wouldn't let people take their companions, the last things they had in the world that mattered, that loved them.

So now we have this poor dog that may have never thought to eat any human more than any human would have until they were LEFT WITH NO CHOICE.

FUCK YOU BUSH!

7. Bush* knew.
Edited on Fri Feb-10-06 06:43 AM by deminks
Bush knew what had happened with the levees. He let this happen. To this day, they have purposefully not retrieved the dead. To this day, five months later, the people are finding dead bodies when they return home. Bush knew. He let it happen.

Bush knew - Katrina levees would break and did break
Bush knew - Iraq was a lie
Bush knew - 9/11 would happen, if not worse ( I am leaning toward worse)
Bush knew - Abramoff
Bush knew - The Niger yellowcake was a lie
Bush knew - Valerie Plame was outed by his Vice President

At least Brownie was a worthless idiot. The rest of these bastards knew...and did nothing. They just didn't care. They let bureacracy and martial law get in the way of aid.

I wish Gore/Kerry were president. Anybody instead of the assholes we have now. These bastards are neither compassionate nor conservative.

41. WE will never forget, and these Neighbors are still dying
In the past month, there have been 3 different Katrina Families that succumbed to their desperation, thru murder/suicides(texas,georgia).Could be more, these are just those that I'm aware of.
They somehow survived the Storms, but could not withstand the aftermath, our corrupt & inept govment, the TOTAL void of HOPE.. This cannot be forgotten,EVER..because it will effect ALL of us for generations.

There were marches in DC and NYC for NOLA this week, we're going to need more o'that, and alot more media coverage. I think these graphic photos need to be circulated, big-time, & NOW. THANK YOU.
I hear folks intend to march in DC(again/more)all the info I have is here:

about how America changed. Mr. Bell is in the UK, and image also shows how the rest of the world's idea of America was also changed, if anyone on the planet besides Fox viewers hadn't noticed yet.
