Did that ditz Katie Couric ever acknowledge her mistake with Dean?
Recall that she disputed him when he said no Democrats had taken Abramoff money, and and claimed they had sources indicating Dean did.

Did she ever admit that she was wrong?

5. I guess so. You'd think she'd have the guts and integrity to do it
without prodding.

Talking entertainment heads shouldn't pretend to be journalists.

8. It was one of those
Dean was technically right but Abramoff still directed money be given (which is also false). I would assume he was glad to give that grudging correction.

10. Yeah, they admitted that Dean was "technically" right
But hung on to the bogus claim that Abramoff "directed" his clients to give money to the Democrats. Which isn't true, either, but NBC and the Washington Post really wish it was true.

14. Well, and she just might be "technically" right, too
I'm so old, I remember a time when folks on the teevee felt a personal obligation to tell the truth for all the millions of dollars that were being lavished upon them.

15. I don't like her and never have.
If that's hate speech, then she's welcome to it. If she wants to be a news anchor (please God, no!), then she should develop thicker skin.

No offense meant to you. :hi:

17. Ditz is not the right word
That would imply she had no clue. She is not an objective journalist but a stooge.

18. The sisterhood of stupidity
Couric is the figurehead for a bevy of spokesmodels at NBC. Campbell Brown, Ann Curry, and Lauer are equally inept.
