Remember, Cheney is drugged, runs on batteries & has two "trick knees"

Okay, here's what I consider responsible speculation without the Alcohol insertion:

First: Just how MANY drugs is Cheney ON at any given time? Remember he's had quite a few heart attacks so he's got something perculating through his system, from blood thinners to whatever else, sometimes you get adverse reactions to drug mixtures, so you can get light headed, have vision problems, etc..

Second: He had KNEE surgery not too long ago, so he is probably now the proud owner of a pair of "trick Knees", anyone who has a trick knee knows that they can go out at any time and when one or both fail you go DOWN, sometimes you spin in a circle, since the human body has to go somewhere as you go down, if one leg is holding up better than the other you will SPIN.

Third: He has a device planted inside of his body that will SHOCK his heart if it is not behaving, ticking like a clock. I'm sure that the reactions to this pacemaker or defibrillator (sp), can range from a slight shudder, to coming in his pants, to smelling BREAD, to a complete collapse.

SO, I think that it's very possible, his vision was screwed from a drug cocktail, not neccessarily alcohol needs to be involved, his blood pressure was UP, probably due to the BABES in the car he wanted to show off for as well as the "thrill" of the "hunt".

He jumps out of the car, can't see, head pounding from high blood pressure, runs or moves too fast for his heart to catch up, starts to fall as one or both of his trick knees quit on him (maybe it's not getting the messege from the brain it needs), and so he SPINS around - most people that feel like they are falling tend to want to clutch something to keep from falling - so he pulls the trigger, basic response.

The result? He Shoots someone who was BEHIND him as he spins and clutches the trigger, and the rest is whatever they think they can pull over on us.

Voila, hopefully I have not given them the excuse they need to make this a medical claim by Cheney - even MORE of an accident and believeable at that.

If these fuckers hired me I could fool the public a LOT better, but it would have to be a LOT of money, and they'd have to listen better

That's what makes coming up with these kinds of theories so great. Personally I think Dick Cheney was hunting "the most dangerous game" i.e. man. That's why the heart attack - Cheney probably chased this guy for mile while "duck hunting."

Fortunately Cheney is a catch and release kind of hunter, when it comes to potential donors anyway.

:thumbsup: it is, of course, speculation. But it does help bring up the subject of why an old man who has had several heart attacks, lives on meds and has trick knees and is VP of the US is out freaking hunting. Even if it is a canned hunt i.e. slaughter.

He was on a slew of pills and some days my husband was very muddled in his thinking. He also had a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted like Cheney. It went off only one time - he was outside in the yard and he thought for a moment he had been shot because it knocked him back quite forcefully.

I would be surprised if Cheney was drinking enough to cause him to get drunk. That's a no-no with all those meds, but I do wonder about the effect those meds have on him. Some of that medication is pretty heavy-duty stuff.

I've been on some med cocktails before too and know that sometimes you can be an entirely different person on some meds.

For him I would advise about 3000 milligrams of most anything, bleach, injectable mud, gasoline in the veins would help his situation tremendously, and to spend a LOT of time around microwave machines, LOTS OF THEM, a big circle of them with casseroles in them :)

If he had a conscience he'd go home and shoot himself, and if the SS were true patriots they'd let him do it.

now about the wisdom in having a man with such a remarkable cardiac history in the 2nd position to the presidency. The job of VP is typically pretty tame, but the idea of him being in position to take over the presidency really astonishes me - its the most stressful job one could have and I don't think anyone with his health history should be considered for that job.

I thought he would have been replaced by his own request at the end of Junior's first term. It boggles my mind that he's still holding down this job for this length of time.

Anyway, I think the question of what role, if any, his meds played in this accident is a really good one. Thanks for pointing out something that has been overlooked.

So no trick knees. The guy only started exercising in 2000. He hasn't used his knees enough to wear them out. He had surgery to correct a problem with his veins or arteries behind his knees. Then after that he had a problem with his foot which he refused to explain. Speculation was gout.

A serious condition which often calls for the implanting of a heart defibrilator, just like Cheney has.

It doesn't mean Cheney has to be drunk at the time of his shooting. It means his heart suffered PREVIOUS serious damage due to years of alcohol abuse.

IF that is Cheney's condition. There are many types of cardiomyopathy. One type is alcohol-related, and IF this is the heart condition Cheney has, it would make it simply stunning if the VP was still imbibing on top of the treasure-chest full of meds he was taking.

So, add this to the speculation list! And remember...it is speculation. I don't know what condition Cheney suffers from, nor does anyone else on DU. We're all just speculating. That's what is supposed to make this fun!
