Hope Arkansas trailers setting empty for 6 months and sinking in mud!
There are more than 10,000 mobile homes sitting dormant in Hope, Arkansas for than 6 months. FEMA are stopping the payments for those citizens who have yet to find a place to live. Once again, putting them out on the street.

Now, there are mobile homes that are laying dormant. FEMA had 6 months to set these trailers up to give citizens of the gulf coast a place they could live until some more stable means become available. Now the trailers are sinking in the mud of where they are currently being stored.

<<snip>>
The mobile homes have been sitting empty for nearly 6 months now. "Since they were not properly stored," Homeland Security inspector General Richard Skinner told a Senate Panel. "The homes are sinking in the mud and their frames are bending from sitting on trailers with no support."

The soil under the mobile homes is so soft, that every time it rains, the mobile homes sink. Arkansas Congressman Mike Ross says FEMA is taking extreme measures to fix the problem. "If you can believe this they are delivering something like 44,000 jacks by that cow pasture near the airport to jack up each corner of all 10,777 manufactured homes."

4. Obviously, bush has a better plan...
see, he believes if you "plant" 10,000 trailers, the following Spring, you can harvest about 100,000 trailers, new ones too, complete with all the amenities, which will benefit far more people! His genius knows no bounds.

7. Waste! Yeah, a waste of more of our money. I told my husband
I was going to call FEMA and ask them if the trailers are going to sit and rot, why not have an auction for people to buy them and put that money back into FEMA. I know we would go and buy some and rent them out. My son and daughter-in-law are paying $500 a month in rent in a little house that only has five rooms. My grandson's bedroom isn't much bigger than a walk-in closet.

They are showing the world, yet again, they have OUR MONEY to burn.

8. Meanwhile, I still know plenty of people
who are living 3 families to a house and I understand that many others are still living in tents. Is this country capable of doing anything right anymore?
