That Saddam intended to build and have WMDs and was obstructing the UN. He did this throughout the 1990's, but we managed to get back in into the country in early 2003. However, he still wasn't able to build anything due to containment. Also, even if Saddm did have WMDs, he would not have struck first with them against America. He said that he would not hit D.C. on a PRIVATE tape. What does that tell you? He's conservative in his use of weapons. If he had them in 2003 he would've used them because he was being attacked, but he would not have used them to launch the first strike against D.C.

AND i wonder what else is on those tapes and i also wonder if there weren't other tapes of conversations between Saddam and other heads of state and officials who had met with him...like say, Rumsfeld? Wonder how many west implicating tapes were destroyed?
