WTF???-- Here are the names of two of the people in the hunting party

Gerardo Medellin
Oscar Medellin

Here's the Constable's name that backed the local Sheriff's off:

Ramiro Medellin Jr

Are these people related?

The report is at smokinggun.com here's the link to page 2 where the list of attendees is http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0216061cheney2.html

2. So do we know just who was at this party
because it seems from everything I have read the people actually at the hunt in which the incident occurred were Cheney, Whittington, Swiss Miss and Armstrong - were there others because I just love the juicy Valentine's weekend leave the spouses at home speculation -

3. It's Armstrong who keeps adding names.
Five days later, no less. Remember when Darth told Faux that they had to notify Harry's family? Well, now Armstrong is claiming that Harry's wife was there all along.

Their 'coordination' of stories is turning into a joke.

4. It is
To find the truth find the first reports. Maybe someone could make a report and find the first reports of the story and figure clues out from that.

6. If Harry's wife was there she isn't in the police report
Not sure she would be if she wasn't along on the hunting thing but she isn;'t mentioned.

8. This NYT article is a hoot. Supposedly, Lynne dropped out at last moment
Everything is based on Armstrong's word - the word that she gave after reporters had questions about Pamela Willeford being named in only the earliest account in the Austin paper. Now, supposedly, Mrs. Whittington was not only at the ranch, but she was in the "other" hunting party. :eyes:

7. Now we know why Bush & Cheney insisted on testifying together
before the 9-11 commission. They knew they could never keep their stories straight if they were apart.

17. OK so I think what has been established
is that these folks with the same name as the Sheriff were employees which means they weren't guests. When we first found out about the incident it was reported that Cheney, Whitt and a third hunter - who they seemed quite hesitant to name - and why might that be - who later turned out to be Swiss Miss and Armstrong were at the scene of the crime...my money is on they were the only guests and the fact that Mrs Whitt was there is TOTAL BS....yep not only did Dick have to sober up he had to make up a big fat story for Lynne....and Mrs Whitt will cut her shot in the face lawyer husband some slack until he recovers - than maybe she'll shoot him herself - lol - my my boys don't you just hate it when you plan a perfect weekend and then one of you shoots somebody and screws the whole thing up -

9. UPDATE: I believe All three Medellin's must WORK at the ranch
INCLUDING the constable

Well now that's fair and impartial huh?

Boss tells employees to cover Cheney's ass and they do so.

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/021506dnnatcheney.105a57f7.html

"Kenedy County Sheriff Ramon Salinas III, whose department investigated the shooting, has said he talked by phone to employees of Armstrong Ranch, who assured him the shooting was accidental."

The above must refer to Oscar and Gerardo

Now here comes the *constable* that talked to local cops and assured them it was an accident:

"Ramiro Medellin, a county constable who also works at the ranch, said he had no doubts it was an accident. But it did not surprise him that Sheriff Salinas did not question anyone the evening of the shooting. Secret Service agents told the sheriff that it was an accident, and he trusted their word."

11. The "constable" is a former sheriff who works at the ranch as a
ranch hand. See this article for more info...

Salinas called Ramiro Medellin Jr., a former sheriff who lives on Armstrong Ranch and works as a ranch hand. Medellin called Salinas back and confirmed the incident was an accident.
http://www.knoxstudio.com/shns/story.cfm?pk=CHENEY-SHERIFF-02-15-06&cat=WW

My question is this...is he currently a law enforcement officer or is he retired? I haven't seen this answered yet.

I cannot believe that each time I think they can't do anything more blatantly transparent they always surprise me!

The employer lies and the employees swear to it and the media just sits there with it's head up it's ass.
