Bush to obliterate Chris Reeve paralysis center; Indian clinics, ALS.....
Edited on Thu Feb-16-06 10:16 PM by Bluebear

If enacted, the 2007 budget would eliminate federal programs that support inner-city Indian health clinics, defibrillators in rural areas, an educational campaign about Alzheimer's disease, centers for traumatic brain injuries, and a nationwide registry for Lou Gehrig's disease. It would cut close to $1 billion in health care grants to states and would kill the entire budget of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center.

5. His supporters can no longer be considered just dumb
If they don't fight against his policies, they are also guilty of doing his dirty work.

What would Jesus think of these cuts?

7. What compassion. What empathy. What Christian values.
Can someone explain to me how these "Christians" who back Junior, reconcile his BEHAVIOR?

Do these dullards not understand that the man is not religious or spiritual at all? He quotes Bible verses when election time rolls around. He must be laughing his ass off at their gullibility.

How do these people explain that their God boy siphons money from the poor and those who have terminal diseases---to his buddies in the oil business or to wealthy yacht owners?

Do they even care? Are these freaks just so insecure--that they only care that someone important is finally validating their egos?

Wake up, America!

10. The only news they get are from Fox and whatever christian news
service their preacher recommends.
They probably won't ever know about the outrageous cuts until someone in their family needs a service that won't be in existence anymore.

Edited on Fri Feb-17-06 11:49 AM by DanCa
He really wants to obliterate his memory. He really is Lex Luthor. Note I said and stand by the word kill. Anyone who opposes the stem cell research and choose a cell over the living breathing human is evil.

23. What about Christopher Reeve?
Look at how hard he tried to turn tragedy into hope for millions of other people with spinal injuries... Republicans held back promising research from stem cells and now they're just going to squash a Super Legacy?

I just don't see how this could possibly fly, but not much surprises me anymore. Is the dark side purposely trying to make '06 a cakewalk for us???

28. Unbelievable
They might as well just come out and say we help kill people and don't care if they die or suffer from disease or injury. What kind of human being could do this to others?
