Was the Senate Intell Comm Meeting vote secret?
I have been trying to find out who voted against not investigated B's illegal wiretapping.

1. Was there even a vote?
Or did Roberts unilaterally make the decision?

3. Roberts Did It By Fiat
Edited on Fri Feb-17-06 11:56 AM by KharmaTrain
Sounds like Roberts did this by fiat...deciding himself. But that was because Rove's cracked the whip on DeWine, Hagel and Snowe that prevented the needed votes to move ahead with an investigation. Once that deal was sealed, all the rest Roberts is doing here is applying the last coats of whitewash.

On Edit: I ended up using the same header as someone else...GMTA!!!

4. WP said the vote was "behind closed doors" and fell along
party lines.

6. Kinda Like The Supreme Soviet
We were told this spying program was approved in a similar fashion. The fix was in the moment DeWine, Snowe and Hagel caved into Rove and Chenney. Shameless...

5. There was a vote to adjourn the meeting
without considering Rockefeller's motion to continue the investigation.

Hagel and Snowe fell in line.

They are pulling the end run, and getting away with it.
