Bush Never Picked Up Phone To Call Cheney, To Console Or Offer Counsel...

He did speak with David Addington, his chief of staff and former lawyer who is a strong proponent of executive power and secrecy.

hold kindly to that. Bush is so one dimensional how could he possibly console someone.

both incapable of empathy for others, only about feeling for themselves when caught, so there's no "consoling" there - either to give or to accept. And as for "counsel," -- uh, counsel from a village idiot to be given to an arrogant oligarch? So from both ends, there's no point in picking up the phone.

It is really worth reading, although it is full of bias toward Cheney. For example, on page six of the online version at MSNBC, it says that Cheney's legacy will be redeemed by history. Hilarious! These clowns don't have a clue that Cheney could care less about his legacy and cares only for his own and the profits of Halliburton.

In another spot, I found it very interesting that Cheney got an anthrax letter but it was never covered by the press. Oh, and it was a phony anthrax letter, too! But he and his hideous family all took Cipro. Yeah, right.

The writers, who include champion ho Isakoff, muse over the change in Cheney's personality and talk about his series of heart attacks. They say there is no scientific evidence to back a change in personality as a result but I think just last week some research came out that discussed this. I know for a fact that when my own father had a quadruple bypass, it changed his personality and not for the better, either.

Cheney was no great shakes to begin with but he has turned into a ghoul who is perfectly capable of working with Rumsfeld to perform the hideous atrocities for which the U.S. has been universally condemned.

bad heart and a pacemaker might think about leaving a better mark in this work, making it a better better/kinder place. Leaving some kind a good memory of oneself to show his time here on earth.

But not this bastard. He's done every single opposite think he could possibly do. Whether you're a religious person or not, one would just think that you would't want your life to end knowing that the planet earth realized full well that it will be a much better place when you're gone.

That is shocking almost like D.C. being under a possible air attack
and "they" don't even bother to tell the President who is out riding his
bike @ 11:00 AM on a Wednesday.

I think he is afraid of Crashcart. Any subordinate, like Crashcart is to Chimpy that acted this way - needs to be fired.
