Headline SHOULD read: ANGER Escalates on Foreign Control of Ports
but, instead, the Bushloving media always has to use the word FEAR - Fear Escalates om Foreign Control of Ports - over the truth about how Americans REALLY feel which is ANGER.

Just another example of the Orwellian corporate media doing its job for its fascist masters.

1. Why Anger?
Edited on Sun Feb-19-06 05:29 PM by tecelote
Fear is right. We know who brought us 9/11 and now Bushco and the Saudi's are partnering up again.

---

On edit - Anger indicates that we can change it. Fear shows that it's a done deal.

I completely agree with your post and didn't want the sarcasm misunderstood.

2. Fear is an adequate word.
This administration's MO is to keep the people afraid.

3. Fear is a word to keep us feeling oppressed and powerless and
at their mercy.

Anger is a word that exudes power, which is precisely why they will never use that word. Because their goal of course is to strip us of all our power.

4. And that is why they get to win - media WANTS fear - but FEAR is not what
many of us feel - we are BLISTERINGLY ANGRY about this sale because we KNOW the fascism its connected to.

6. I really don't see how they are going to get out of this one.
The symbolism is so damning, just on the face of it. It won't be long before they are talking about the Cheney shooting just to get Portgate off the front page!

7. Opposition, resistance, aversion,
disapproval, friction, disagreement, contention, hostility...

Certainly NOT fear.

8. Fear is the only reason that he got as many votes as he did
It's been the driving force behind this administration since Day One and they perfected it following 9-11.

Hopefully, "anger" will be the driving force behind his future impeachment.

Good catch, blm.
