Today at 7 pm we close out the KPFT fund-raising drive. We are especially looking for new members, but ALL pledges are very welcome, to support KPFT.

Over the past three years, Sunday Monitor has worked to bring you the most insightful perspectives possible on the news. We have discussed diverse issues with elected officials, authors, newsmakers, experts, and activists.

Our eclectic guest list has included Jim Hightower, former ambassador Joe Wilson, Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, best-selling author Kevin Phillips, investigative journalist Greg Palast, John Dean, Robert Fisk, NSA expert James Bamford, Air America radio host Laura Flanders, electronic voting expert Dan Wallach, gay historian and nominee for the National Book Award John D'Emilio, Medea Benjamin of Code Pink, weapons inspector Scott Ritter, war profiteering author William Hartung, feminist leader Ellie Smeal, Daniel Ellsberg, Pulitzer nominee Michael Parenti, political cartoonist and author Ted Rall, veteran CIA analyst Ray McGovern, global energy expert Michael Klare, journalist William Rivers Pitt, and others.

These people spend their time investigating and communicating important elements of the world around you, and we are happy to find them and get them to share the fruits of their labor with us.

Your part is to share financial support, as you are able, with KPFT. Feed your brain!

Please call in during the show and pledge your support:
