Could the escalating outsourcing of American jobs and the sale of ports...
...be part of a plan by the Bush Administration to attack Iran? One of the things that sometimes is quietly done is the warning of businesses about what's coming down the pike so they can prep. Could Bush be encouraging businesses to ship operations overseas because he's hatching a plot that will involve retaliation on American soil? Is he selling American ports to make it easier for that retaliation to occur?

What if the nightmare scenario is true, and Bush and Cheney are actually traitors working for a foreign power (Saudi Arabia?), intent on destroying the United States? They couldn't do this too obviously if they hope to execute the entirety of their plans.

The whole tapestry of what they've been doing sure stinks to high heaven of malice aforethought against the United States.

5. They want money. That is all.
Outsourcing is simply a way to keep labor costs in check. This means more money, more market share, and more power. Selling of the ports is a way to make money. Would you sell a port for several billion dollars? If money is your game, you would. If greed is your soul, you would.

It's all about money.

* and vice* are working for a another country, but I can think of reasons for the outsourcing of jobs and sale of not only ports but other land to foreign powers. If there were to be an attack on Iran that was against world opinion (it would be) our trade deficit gives the administration tremendous power over the economies of certain countries-ie if say China or another country from which we import an enormous amount of goods were to sanction us or cut off trade relations who really gets hurt? The US suffers a shortage of consumer goods, but this could cause a serious drop GNP of other countries. Also by outsourcing jobs especially in the manufacturing and entry level tech areas we create a situation were there will always be a certain percentage of new high school grads and collage grads who choices will be limited to minimum wage jobs or the armed forces, there by creating a reliable stock of inductees and no draft.

10. Financial interests that fund neocon machinations expect to bankrupt
the U.S. and buy it back for pennies on the dollar.

After that occurs, they will establish a de facto Corporate State while retaining a semblance of democracy to fool the people.

It doesn't matter how long the process takes as long as there is inexorable progress toward corporatism.

Our Constitution does not mention corporations but they have become the dominate force in our governments.

The only question is whether the People will wake and reclaim by vote or arms their country with goals so eloquently stated in the Preamble of our Constitution, "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquillity, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Incompetence/greed or takeover by the Carlye Group.

The truth is usually in the middle. Both are true to some extent.
