Llighting the Way and Women who have made America Worse
I have been listening to Karenna Gore Schiff on Book TV, being interviewed by her mother, Tipper and I am struck by the contrast between her and Kate O'bierne. Why do conservative women write hateful screeds and Democratic women write thoughtful and insightful books? Why do conservative women seem to wallow in the gutter while Democratic women rise above the fray? Is anyone else watching?

1. conservatism, always a dubious "philosophy" at best
Edited on Mon Feb-20-06 10:45 AM by leftofthedial
has now been completely hijacked by hateful criminals who revel in all things evil--as long as it makes them rich

they prey upon the basest instincts of society

it works very well for them

3. The difference being
is that conservative woman either knowingly go along with the rhetoric that conservative men spew or they are just plain stupid....why any woman who values their core freedoms as a human being would not ever become a repuke...

6. many women live in fear and feel the need for a man to protect them
of course, they tend to seek out men who claim to allay that fear, and yet foster it on many levels.

9. Two Women they most Hate,
apart from Hillary. This actually was a Freeper Thread a while back. They could not vote for Hillary. I guess they thought that was a given? The criteria was what woman has done the most to destroy American society and culture. The "winners" were Betty Friedan and Margaret Sanger.

4. Women like O'Bierne (Matalin, Coulter, Malkin) are self-loathing & bitter
about their own perceived weakness & inferiority to the masculine gender.

So, in addition to trying to debase the other mbrs of their own gender who might not feel weak or inferior, they overcompensate in their pathetic attempt to project "maleness".

Everything they say and do just drips in contempt and bile.

I find them utterly disgusting.

5. Conservative women have their own agenda, separate from
conservative men and liberal women. It comes down to "every woman for herself" and social darwinism.

I believe they want to attain and retain power once they get it. Several strategies are employed: Not getting in the way of neocon men who ultimately hold the power and the money; assisting the neocon men get even more power and money; getting the illusion of being independent; getting media attention (e.g., Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, etc.); and ultimately being left alone to their own devices by "playing the game".

7. Right wing females hate themselves intensely
I see right wingerism as fundamentally anti-female, anti-woman, anti-black, anti-brown, anti-poor, anti-disabled. Right wingerism is only pro white male, particularly the rich right wing Christian ones.

Right wing females are like organ-player monkeys. They dance around to the music made by right wing extremist males, hoping to get some applause and a few coins from the right wing males. Part of right wing female monkey dance is to applaud anything that hurts women and all other groups which make up the underdogs of this country. This gets them rewarded by right wing extremist males, of course.

Read The Handmaid's Tale and study the behavior of the women married to the right wing males. These women even get a certain pleasure out of other women suffering.

There are freaks in both genders, ya know. And there are always, always self-haters. Look at Condoleeza Rice. I don't know of a single self-respecting black voter that would vote for her for anything, even cemetery janitor. My best friend at work is a black woman and she calls her, "The White House Oreo."

Self-haters abound, and right wing males hire and love them all.

between Karenna and kate, one being quite comely. But you are right, and I plan to read Karenna's book, it sounds very interesting and why not celebrate how women have helped to make this country, and the world, so much better.

10. Sellouts get rewarded big time....
and women are no different. I'm not convinced that these Conservative female mouthpieces believe half of what they say, they just like the attention and especially the money that it gets them.

Take Michelle Malkin (please!). Here is a woman who claims that the internment of Japanese American citizens during WWII was justified. What is beyond ironic is that, were she around then, she might have been rounded up and shipped to a camp herself. There were many in those camps that were Asian but not Japanese. But damn, it gets her book on the subject published and bought up by Conservative book clubs. That means big money for Michelle.

11. Michelle Malkin is the stuff on the bottom of someone's shoe
She is so self-hating it isn't even funny. She probably thinks the mudslide in the Philipines was a good thing (and she's Filipino).
